What should I do if the battery reads 0V?

If the battery shows 0V, the BMS may have activated protection mode. Disconnect the battery from the load and measure the voltage. If it is above 10.8V, reconnect the cables. If it is below 10.8V, contact info@alltempenergy.com.

Is it necessary to charge the battery when first received?

Yes. Fully charge the battery before first use. Always fully charge all batteries before connecting them in series or parallel.

How can I check the battery voltage?

You can use a battery monitor or a digital multimeter to measure the voltage directly at the battery terminals.

Can the battery be mounted in any position?

Yes. The battery can be installed in any orientation. Make sure the terminals are protected and properly secured.

Can I use this battery to start gasoline engines?

No. This battery is not designed for engine starting. It is intended for deep-cycle power applications.

Can I charge this battery with a regular lead-acid charger?

No. Use only a LiFePO4-compatible charger with a charging voltage of 14.6V ± 0.2V.

How long will the battery last?

The typical lifespan is 4,000–6,000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge.

Can I mix this battery with other brands or capacities?

No. Mixing brands or different capacities may cause imbalance or damage. Use the same brand, chemistry, voltage, and capacity when connecting batteries.

What is the operating temperature range?

Charging range: 32°F to 113°F, or 0°C to 45°C. Discharging range: –4°F to 140°F, or –20°C to 60°C.

What happens if the battery overheats?

The BMS will stop charging or discharging until the battery temperature returns to a safe operating range.

Can the battery be stored for long periods?

Yes. Store the battery at 50%–70% charge in a cool, dry place. Recharge it every 3–6 months.

Does the battery support Bluetooth monitoring?

Some models support Bluetooth monitoring. Please check your specific model specifications.
